Cherry Ambassadors around the Republic took full advantage of Leaf Day 2017. From baking with family and friends, to fishing in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, to driving a semi to Kansas City for our first holiday gift show of 2017. Here are some of our favorite stories…
Fishing the Pere Marquette River
JP, our I.T. hero, spent his Leaf Day on a day-long guided fishing float trip down the Pere Marquette River with Steve Galbraith and world renowned fishing guide Steve Cornetet. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day with the leaves starting to turn and a gentle breeze blowing. The float was a great way to spend an autumn day and this little fella decided to be my ephemeral friend of the hour:
Sailing the Waters
Tyler, our Wholesale Manager, spent his evening sailing/floating in West Grand Traverse Bay. He was witness to one of northern Michigan’s best features – a sunset for the ages.
Hiking the Rocky Mountains
Laura, an Assistant Manager at our Ann Arbor store, spent the weekend hiking in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We are too jealous.
Hiking at C+ Farm
Brett, our new Graphic Designer, spent time hiking in his own backyard at C+ Farm with his mutt named Zurri.
Strolling the Florida Beaches
Dawn, the wonderful manager of our Traverse City flagship store, spent her birthday strolling the Jensen Beach and jumping in the chilly waters of Florida’s eastern seaboard.
Driving a Big Rig to Kansas City
And last but not least, Katie (Regional Manager of our southern stores) and Kathy (General Manager of our Glen Arbor property) spent their Leaf Day driving a big rig down to Kansas City. They’re setting to open the Kansas City gift show this Friday.
