Traverse City Summer Microbrew Festival

Glass of beer

Featuring a ton of delectable craft beers, some great music from near and far, and great local food, Summer Microbrew Festival is another can’t-miss event. In fact, it’s such a popular event that it’s typically sold-out well in advance.

While the focus here is on beer (and lots of it!), there are plenty of other beverages on offer, such as wine, cider, and mead. But most people will come for the beer. And with porters, ales, stouts, wheats, blondes, pilsners, and more available for sampling, there is something for every taste.

In case you’re worried about going hungry, Traverse City’s famous food trucks will be cooking up everything from fish tacos to falafel to mac and cheese.

Like all great events, the Traverse City Summer Microbrew Festival attracts nationally renowned artists to provide the live music. In previous years, headliners have included The Wailers, Michael Franti, and Martin Sexton.

Summer Microbrew Festival runs August 22 – August 23, 2014.
