Throughout the Land of Life, Liberty, Beaches and Pie, Christmas is one of our favorite holidays!
When you walk into one of our six Cherry Republic stores, we hope you will feel invited to join us in celebrating the season and our ruby red morsels of joy. You’ll find a different Christmas tree display in each of our stores, making every tree unique to that location.
At our Glen Arbor location, you’ll be greeted by Big Bertha, a 14 ft tall concolor fir tree from Schmuckal’s Tree Farm.
In Traverse City, they have named their tree Joy, to celebrate the joy of giving.
In Charlevoix, their tree is called the Lake Michigan Tree, in recognition of the beautiful body of water in which the town of Charlevoix is nestled along.
Down in Ann Arbor, they have a stunning tree named Hail to the Pickers that is filled with blue decor. You can probably guess how that tree got its name, right? Well, it’s to commemorate all of the farmers and cherry pickers and of course, the University of Michigan.
In Frankenmuth, Weihnachtsbaum will welcome you as you walk in the store. Weihnachtsbaum means “a tree used during the Christmas holiday season” in German in honor of Michigan’s little Bavaria.
And last but not least, we have our Tulip Tree in Holland to celebrate the millions of tulips that bloom throughout the city in the spring.
If you find yourself at a Cherry Republic store, please take a moment to snap a picture of yourself with your family and friends in front of one of our Christmas trees and share it with us on social media using the hashtag #aCRchristmas. Anyone who shares a picture in front of a Cherry Republic tree will be entered in a drawing to win a Bounty of the County Gift Box (a $75 value!). The winner will be announced on December 24. Merry Christmas!
