On October 19, our staff will celebrate what has now become one of our favorite days of the year: Leaf Day. All Cherry Republic locations — including our HQs, retail stores, Public House, and mail order — will be closed for the day so every employee can enjoy this unique Republic perk. Created in 2014 to take advantage of that magical-yet-fleeting season that hovers between the dog-days of summer and the biting chill of winter, this unique Cherry Republic holiday is meant to be spent out-of-doors soaking up the beauty of autumn and reveling in stolen time enjoyed with family and friends. That’s the great thing about creating your own holiday; you get to make up the rules!
It also serves as a time to recharge our batteries after a hectic summer season and before the holiday frenzy. This year, the need to refresh our bodies and souls is stronger than ever, and we’ll embrace this beloved holiday with extra gusto and appreciation. We hope you can carve out some time for a 2020 Leaf Day of your own and enter the next season feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever lies ahead.
