Who doesn’t love a good Restaurant Week, especially in the spring? After a long winter of hibernating at home and eating more carbs than we’d care to admit, we’re more than ready to venture out to our favorite lunch and dinner spots, reconnect with friends, and enjoy some fresh and unique cuisine. Restaurant Week is also a great time to try out somewhere you haven’t eaten before, as local restaurants serve up inventive pairings at affordable prices.
Glen Arbor’s Restaurant Week 2022 kicks off today, April 29, and runs through next Saturday, May 7. And unlike bigger cities that may have almost too many eateries to choose from, Glen Arbor has just seven participating restaurants — one for each day of Restaurant Week! They range from casual burger spots to high-end French cuisine, so you’re sure to find something that fits your taste (and your kids, too). Each establishment will offer a special prix-fixe menu ranging from $15 to $35. Of course, our favorite spot on the list is our very own Cherry Public House!
Chef Chris Henry at the Cherry Public House has put together an amazing lineup of your favorite cherry dishes, along with some new contenders that you won’t want to miss. Enjoy a three-course dinner that includes an appetizer or salad, entree, and dessert for just $25, or if you want something lighter, choose an entree and side dish for only $15. Everything on the menu looks great, but we’re especially obsessed with the Sugar & Spice Salad (featuring our seasonal Michigan Maple Mix), St. Louis Ribs (with our Cherry BBQ Spice Rub and our Smoky Cherry Slow Cooker Sauce), and the Brownie Brittle, featuring Bob’s Mom’s Ice Cream!
Here’s a sneak peek at the whole Restaurant Week menu:

And after dinner, be sure to save time to meander through Sue’s perennial garden (things are beginning to pop!!) to do a bit of wine tasting at The Winery or pick up some pantry staples (you can always use Cherry Salsa or BBQ Sauce) at The Great Hall. The Cherry Public House is open Fri-Sun 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mon-Thurs 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Hope to see you this week!
